Welcome to my webpage!!!
My name is William James Smyth and I'm going
into my third year at UCIrvine. I just
transferred to Irvine from UCDavis
this past fall. Both schools are really different but I think I'm getting
to like Irvine now that I've been here a while. Gotta give some shout outs
to my boys back at Davis. I grew up in Los Angeles, home of the world champion
Lakers
and, as you can see, I'm a big basketball fan. I love both NBA
and college
basketball. Some of my favorite players include Michael Jordan, Jason
Kidd, Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal, and Ray Allen. Personally, I love
playing basketball just as much as I like to follow it. I played basketball
at Beverly Hills High School
all four years I was there which was real cool. Our team didn't do very
well but every year was fun nonetheless. I also played four years of volleyball
which I learned to really like also. Our team did really well every year
and that was also a great experience. In addition to basketball and volleyball,
I like pretty much every sport there is out there. A couple of my friends
are out there playing big time college football, wanna wish them all good
luck. I also really got into soccer this past summer when Korea made that
run for the World Cup. I also enjoy tennis and baseball. Basically, I love
all sports and doing anything athletic.
